In an effort to advance sustainable agriculture practices, LEAF have officially launched a public consultation on their assurance scheme, LEAF Marque aimed at refining its standards for sustainable farming. Stakeholders, including farmers, businesses and consumers, are encouraged to participate and share their insights on the proposed changes.
LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) Marque is recognised for its commitment to sustainable farming practices, helping farmers to implement eco-friendly methods that benefit both the environment and local communities. With this ethos in mind, LEAF has created the Public Consultation - a series of surveys designed to gather feedback on various aspects of sustainable farming - to provide an opportunity for interested parties to engage with proposed amendments to the LEAF Marque standards.
The consultation consists of several targeted surveys that cover key areas such as biodiversity, soil health and carbon management. Participants can access these surveys on the LEAF Marque here and their input will be critical in shaping the future of sustainable farming practices.
